Claire Flynn - The Designer

Saucy Hot Design is the perfect name for my design company; I am red-hot passionate about design. I have great design technical skills, original ideas, and am a bit of a perfectionist.
I am highly capable and excited to work in all areas of design, with 3 years working experience now under my belt. Unlike many designers, I also have the technical skills to actually build websites (from scratch) after designing them to be both visually stunning, and highly functional.
I am proudly a well-rounded person, being strong in both the academic and the creative side of things, as well as being an athlete.
How did I get here?
As a young child I had a wonderful imagination and enjoyed a great childhood. I loved to paint, draw, make cards for people and get creative with almost any material. However, during highschool I concentrated more on (and excelled) the academic side, enjoying the challenges that maths and science provided.
After leaving school with an A Bursary, but not being sure of my career choice, I travelled extensively in Europe competing (see my Sportswoman page), making friends with all sorts of different people from different countries, and gaining fantastic life experiences.
At the end of my second 5 month stint in Europe, I realised that although I was interested in the sciences, I would prefer to investigate how I could incorporate my passion for the creative with a career. I was somehow unaware of 'Graphic Design' opportunities before this.
After enrolling in the Bachelor of Design at Massey Uni in 2005, I have not regretted my choice for one second. I am now so lucky to have a career doing something that I love! I can't wait to make my mark...
